Term and Conditions

Welcome to STAT INDONESIA. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our travel services. By booking a trip with us, you join a binding agreement and agree to comply with the following terms.


1. Booking and Reservation

  • 1.1 Placement: A booking is considered confirmed only after STAT INDONESIA issues a formal written confirmation and receives the required deposit.

  • 1.2 Accuracy: Clients are responsible for providing accurate personal information (names as per passport, contact details, and dietary requirements). STAT INDONESIA is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect data provided by the client.

2. Payment Policy

  • 2.1 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% (unless stated otherwise) is required to secure reservations for hotels, transportation, and tours.

  • 2.2 Final Payment: Full payment must be settled at least 14 days prior to the departure date. If the balance is not paid on time, STAT INDONESIA reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

  • 2.3 Pricing: All prices are subject to change due to significant fluctuations in exchange rates, government taxes, or fuel surcharges until the final payment is made.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • 3.1 Cancellation by Client: * 30+ days before departure: Loss of deposit.

    • 14–29 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price.

    • Less than 14 days or “No Show”: 100% of the total tour price (No refund).

  • 3.2 Cancellation by STAT INDONESIA: We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to force majeure (natural disasters, political instability, etc.). In such cases, clients will be offered an alternative date or a partial refund excluding non-recoverable costs paid to third-party suppliers.

4. Travel Insurance

  • STAT INDONESIA strongly recommends that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance. This should cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal accidents, and loss of luggage. STAT INDONESIA is not responsible for any financial loss incurred by clients who choose not to purchase insurance.

5. Travel Documents and Visas

  • 5.1 Responsibility: It is the traveler’s sole responsibility to ensure they possess a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) and the necessary visas/health certificates for entry into Indonesia or other destinations.

  • 5.2 Rejection: STAT INDONESIA is not liable for any costs incurred if a client is refused entry by immigration authorities.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • 6.1 Third-Party Suppliers: STAT INDONESIA acts as an intermediary between clients and airlines, hotels, and local transport providers. We are not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, or negligence of these independent suppliers.

  • 6.2 Personal Risk: Certain activities (e.g., trekking, diving, surfing) involve inherent risks. By booking, the client acknowledges these risks and waives STAT INDONESIA of liability for personal injury or property damage.

7. Conduct and Behavior

  • STAT INDONESIA reserves the right to terminate the tour of any individual whose behavior is deemed disruptive, dangerous, or offensive to local cultures or fellow travelers. No refunds will be provided in such instances.

8. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising shall be settled under the jurisdiction of the Indonesian courts.
