Into the Emerald Wild: The Ultimate Borneo Expedition with Stat Indonesia

Embark on a life-changing journey deep into the heart of the jungle with the Kumai Expedition Cruise. As you board our traditional Borneo Eco Tour House Boat, also known as a Klotok, you will leave the modern world behind to glide along the serene, mirror-like rivers of Tanjung Puting National Park. This immersive house boat experience allows you to live and breathe the rainforest, offering a unique perspective of the lush canopy and the diverse wildlife that calls this ancient ecosystem home.

Your adventure begins at Tanjung Harapan Camp, where the first whispers of the wild come to life. With STAT Indonesia Tour and Travel, you will witness the legendary Orangutans during their afternoon feeding time, a profound encounter that showcases the intelligence and grace of these "People of the Forest." This station also serves as an educational gateway, introducing you to the vital conservation efforts that make the Borneo Eco Tour a sustainable and responsible choice for conscious travelers.

As the boat drifts further into the wilderness, prepare for the spectacular Proboscis Monkey Tour. Watch from the deck as these unique, long-nosed primates leap through the trees along the riverbanks, their social antics providing endless entertainment against the backdrop of a golden jungle sunset. With STAT Indonesia Tour and Travel, our expert guides will help you spot these endemic creatures, along with colorful kingfishers and rare tropical birds, ensuring every moment on the water is filled with discovery.

The journey continues to Pondok Tanggui, a dedicated rehabilitation center for semi-wild orangutans. Here, you can observe younger primates as they learn the essential skills needed for survival in the wild. Walking through the verdant forest trails with STAT Indonesia Tour and Travel, you will feel the raw energy of the Borneo Eco Tour, surrounded by towering ancient trees and the rhythmic sounds of the rainforest, creating a deep sense of connection to nature’s untamed beauty.

The grand finale of your expedition takes place at the world-renowned Camp Leakey. Established by Dr. Biruté Galdikas, this historic research center is the crown jewel of Tanjung Puting National Park. It offers the most intimate look at orangutan behavior in their natural habitat, surrounded by the echoes of scientific history. Conclude your voyage with STAT Indonesia Tour and Travel, carrying home memories of a land where the wild still reigns and where every river bend reveals a new secret of the "Lungs of the World."
